Along with media outlet ownership by large parent corporations, the other prevailing theme right now on Balkingpoints is ; Dems don’t have to do anything, because their best electoral power is derived when Republicans with a simpleton, wrong world-view are given the keys.
They are incompetent for the job and that emerges sooner or later. So when you hear (frequently) from the corporate-tilted press that Dems are “just as unpopular”, “in disarray” and it’s “both sides”, no. Republicans have the levers of power and have managed in less than 1.5 years, to drive all independents from the tent. The only support left is their facts-challenged, base voter.
